It made me smile though, when i saw what i had written and that i'd actually completed a couple in the 12 months since it was written. It also made me realise how much my life has changed over the past year, thinking of things that i could easily replace with the far more amazing things i had discovered over the past year.
Anyway, i thought i'd post the list on here, ticking off the things that i have done and maybe adding a few extras onto the end. Maybe next year i'll be able to tick off a few more :)
Life List...
1. Own my own house!
- I've always had this thing since i was little, i've always said 'i don't care how much money i make, or what kind of family, if any, i have... I just want a house that i can call my own. No matter how big or small... a home, just for me.'
2. Foster!
- I realise this wont happen for ages, until i'm settled and secure and can provide a loving home for children. But i know one day i will become a foster carer.
3. See the sunrise!
- Hoorah! I actually did this! I went to Australia for Christmas 2012 and woke up really early whilst staying at the Sunshine Coast in Brisbane. It was absolutely amazing, the only emotion i could muster during the experience was thankfulness to God for creating something so beautiful.
4. Go to the Olympics!
- I've always wanted to go to the Olympics ever since i first watched the Olympic Gymnasts it's always seemed to me like an awesome thing to do, and guess what? It happened!!! Okay, so it wasn't the gymnastics event, but it was actually even better. My boss took me to watch the handball on the 3rd August and it was incredible. I actually fell in love with handball and would love to join a team, it's really a sport that is underestimated. I'll never forget that day at London 2012! It was amazing!
5. Swim with dolphins!
- I think this is a staple on a lot of people's 'bucket lists'. I always wanted to be one of the sealife handlers in Sea World Florida, every time we went i would watch in awe as they shared such an amazing connection between themselves and these amazing creatures.
6. Feed a Kangaroo!- AH! I also did this one whilst i was in Australia over Christmas.
It was absolutely incredible. I am a complete animal lover, no matter what the animal. We went to Australia Zoo and you could literally walk around with the Kangaroos... it was insane! I loved the one in this picture he was the cheeky one of the group i think.
7. Skydive!
- Standard, i think my friend Britney wants to do this too. I think this is an adventure for next Christmas.
8. Write and get a series of childrens books published!
- I would love to give this a go.
9. Have a voice lesson with Yvie Burnett!
- How incredible would that be!!!
10. Be in a movie!
- Standard, i love acting... haven't done that much of it since i moved to London and need to get back into something theatrical.
So this was the end of the list i found, i have more to add and i'm sure i will post them on here in a future post. Lets hope when i do i can tick of a few more.
:)
